2025 Bulb Show Opening Lecture

Join us for “Climate Change, Plants and Longing: An artistic and scientific exploration by a reimagined research laboratory” by Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences Jess Gersony. Gersony will present the Smith College PLACE (PLant physiology, Art and Community Engagement) Lab’s artistic and scientific exploration of plants and climate change, as well as discuss their broader project of reimagining a new way forward in response to the vast systemic issues and inequalities present in the field of plant sciences.
