STRIDE Scholars
- STRIDE scholors have the opportunity to work on curatorial or educations projects
Summer Botanic Garden Interns
- Summer Botanic Garden Interns devote time during their internship to an individual project
Academic Year Interns
- Academic year interns and work-study students may participate in ongoing projects at the Botanic Garden
- Students in biology courses may work on research projects with faculty in the Department of Biological Sciences
Royal Botanic Garden at Kew in London
- Students participating in a Botanic Garden sponsored internship at the Royal Botanic Garden at Kew in London, often have their names on papers resulting from the research work that they do during their summer internship
Summer Smithsonian Internship
- Students participating in the Summer Smithsonian Internship at the National Museum of Natural History (part of the Smithsonian Institution) under the supervision of Dr. W. John Kress, chair of the Botany Department, particpate in ongoing research projects there.
