Physiology House
The Physiology House was originally used for plant physiology classes. It is now used primarily for the spring and fall flower shows that have contributed many useful hybrids to bulb and mum cultivation. In 1962, the National Chrysanthemum Society reported that the spoon mum 'Golden Pinwheel,' a hybrid made by a Smith student, was considered by Longwood Gardens to be their best cascade variety.
