Tabernaemontana pachysiphon,  is an evergreen tree or large shrub native to Tropical Africa - Ghana to Sudan, south Angola and Tanzania. Its lovely white pinwheel shaped flowers have a sweet fragrance that fills the air. 
This plant's wood is used locally for firewood and creating charcoal. The bark , leaves and fruit have medicinal properties. The latex it produces is applied to wounds to prevent infection. The bark is also used to make cloth.
