Feijoa sellowiana, also known as Pineapple Guava is a member of the Myrtle family. This evergreen perennial shrub or small tree is native to  the highlands of southern Brazil, eastern Paraguay, Uruguay, northern Argentina, and Colombia, and is grown as an ornamental landscape plant in warm temperate and subtropical climates.  Despite its common name, it is not a true guava, but the fruit is edible and tastes like a combination of pineapple, apple and mint.

This plant lives in the Palm House.
